Challenges like the ones before you are a chance to demonstrate what you can accomplish by taking advantage of both your abilities and your resources. The Indiana University Libraries and especially the Business/SPEA Information Commons are one of the resources that will help you prepare.

Take advantage of the tools found on the C104 class page. This can also be located through the IU Libraries website’s Resource Gateway menu and selecting “Find resources for your class.” In your class’s library workshop session, you will learn how to implement resources such as these for corporate research, including Lexis Nexis Academic, ABI/Inform, and Mintel.

Come to the Business/ SPEA Information Commons Reference desk, call us, e-mail, or “chat with a librarian” through the Business/SPEA Information Commons website if you’d like help familiarizing yourself with these tools or need help in any way. With command of these databases, you’ll be able to discover the precise information to suit your needs. With the confidence that comes with preparation, and the support of your teammates, you’ll be sure to succeed!

As Thomas A. Edison reminds us, “Good fortune often happens when opportunity meets with preparation.”
