Client version of SciFinder discontinued on June 30th

On June 30th, the client version of SciFinder will no longer be available at U.S. and Canadian universities. It is replaced by a web version. So if you have not switched to the web version, you should do it soon!

For using the web version of SciFinder, IU users must register — it is a one-time registration. You may find information on how to do it here. Please, contact us if you have any questions.

SciFinder web has  interesting additions. There is a synthesis planning tool (SciPlanner), ”Keep me Posted” alerts, enhanced interfaces and navigation, property export to Excel, etc. Also, you may use the mobile version in your smartphone for research topic searches.

The King is dead. Long live the King!
