Structure Determination of Organic Compounds

Our Featured Resource and eReference series are back! “Structure Determination of Organic Compounds” by Pretsch, Bühlman, and Affolter is a very useful book for chemistry students and people who need to interpret spectral information. It contains tables of 13C-NMR, 1H-NMR, IR and UV-VIS spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The tables are arranged by functional group.

We have a print copy on reserve at the Chemistry Library, but IU users can read it online here. Furthermore, you can download the pdfs  of the chapters that you need (e.g. tables of 1H-NMR), which may come in handy.
